Your Lobby Deserves a Premiere

A movie theater photo booth gives your lobby the old Hollywood moment it has been missing. We put a real enclosed walk-in booth in your theater for free, keep it stocked and running, and send you a share of every session people take before the trailers roll.

What changes

The lobby becomes part of the show

People arrive at the movies early, ticket in hand, with fifteen minutes to fill. Right now they spend it scrolling. Give them a curtain and a flash and that lobby time becomes the opening scene of the night.

  • Premieres feel like premieres. Fans in costume for the big superhero release, a group in matching shirts for the concert film, friends who planned this night for months. They all want a strip that says they were there.
  • Opening weekends get a souvenir. A ticket stub fades. A printed strip from the night you saw the sequel stays tucked in the mirror frame for years.
  • Date night gets its classic move. Photo booths and movie dates have gone together forever. Couples duck behind the curtain before the show, then return months later to take another.
  • Families have something to do while the popcorn pops. Kids get a few minutes of fun while a parent waits at concessions.
  • Post-credits debates make a pit stop. Groups walking out still arguing about the ending pause for a strip on the way to the parking lot.

Every strip carries your theater’s name, a small record of exactly where the night happened.

Ticket price for you

There is none. Booth, delivery, setup, paper, repairs and insurance come out of our budget, not yours. You supply floor space and an outlet.

Box office split

Your theater takes 10% to 25% of what the booth sells, at a rate we put in writing first. Payment shows up on the 1st, with a sales report every month.

Bad reviews?

Twelve months total, starting with a 90-day trial run. If the audience never warms up to it, we wheel the booth out and you owe nothing.

How it fits

Between the box office and the concessions stand

A movie theater photo booth works best in the main lobby, close enough to concessions to catch people waiting, or along the hallway toward the auditoriums. Plan a corner about 5 x 5 ft with a single standard outlet. The cabinet fits through a regular door on casters, so it can move aside for a big release display. Moviegoers tap a card or phone on the reader, pose four times and get two strips in about 90 seconds, plus a QR code for their phones. Your concessions crew keeps pouring sodas. They never run it, never handle the money, and never change the paper; we restock it and watch it remotely, and a local crew usually sorts out issues the same day.

No theater has a SmileMore booth yet, so you would be the first cinema in South Florida with one in the lobby. Our proof so far comes from a university center at NSU, a very different crowd: north of 300 paid sessions and around $2,400 spent by guests in month one, a lot of it during move-in week. Questions about terms? The host FAQ and our notes on the placement contract cover them.

Best spot

In view of the concessions line. People waiting for popcorn see friends piling into the booth and decide they are next.

Busiest moment

Opening night of a huge release, when fans show up early in costume and the lobby feels like a red carpet.

Make it yours

Your theater’s colors and logo wrap the cabinet, so it fits beside the movie posters, and your name lands on every strip guests take home.

Questions from movie theaters

The idea is the opposite. It gives people a reason to arrive early and hang around the lobby, which is exactly where your popcorn and sodas live.

Yes. It moves on casters and clears a standard doorway, so making room for a big standee or a holiday setup is easy. Give us a heads up and we will help.

It lives in the lobby, away from the auditorium doors, and the flash stays inside the enclosed booth behind the curtain. People watching the film will never know it is there.

No cash needed. Guests pay on the booth itself using a card or their phone, and your box office never touches a dollar.
