Host a booth / Bowling Alleys

For bowling centers

Strike, Spare, Strip

A bowling alley photo booth turns a good frame into something guests carry home. We bring a real enclosed walk-in booth to your center, set it up and keep it running, all free to host. You collect a share of the sessions every month while your bowlers handle the posing.

Turkey Time

What changes

Give the turkey a trophy shot

Bowling is already social theater. People cheer for strangers on the next lane, high five after gutter balls, and spend half the game sitting together waiting their turn. A booth gives all that energy a place to land.

  • League nights get a team photo. Matching shirts, a season-high score, the guy who finally rolled a 200. Teams cram in after the last frame and the strip ends up taped inside a locker or pinned to a corkboard.
  • Birthday lanes get a second act. Between pizza and the final game, kids rotate through the curtain while the next bowler ties their shoes.
  • Cosmic bowl looks great on paper. Black lights and glow pins outside, crisp flash and a proper Canon camera inside. Couples on date night duck in between frames.
  • Waiting for a lane stops being dull. When every lane is booked on a Saturday, groups hanging by the bar or the arcade corner have something to do together.
  • Corporate outings leave with souvenirs. Office teams treat it like a photo op for the group chat, and your logo rides along on every strip.

Hunting for more ways to fill the lanes? Plenty of our bar promotion ideas translate straight to a bowling center with a lounge.

Your cost

Nothing at all. We cover the booth itself, getting it in the door, installing it, keeping it stocked with paper, fixing it and insuring it.

Your share

You keep 10% to 25% of sessions, with the rate locked in writing ahead of signing. Payment arrives on the first day of each month with a full sales breakdown.

Your exit

Our 12-month deal begins with a 90-day trial period. Not feeling it at day 90? We load the booth up, free, and hand your corner back.

How it fits

Somewhere between the shoe counter and lane one

The best spot in a bowling center is usually along the concourse behind the lanes, near the shoe counter, or by the entrance to the lounge. You need about 5 x 5 ft and one ordinary outlet; the Classic cabinet measures roughly 55 in wide by 29 in deep and glides in on casters (our photo booth dimensions guide has specifics). Bowlers settle up on the booth itself with a card or a tap of the phone. Four poses, two printed strips in about 90 seconds, a QR code for the phone. Nobody at your desk handles cash or paper, because we restock it and monitor the machine remotely, backed by a local crew that generally handles fixes within the day.

A bowling alley photo booth from SmileMore would be a first, since we have not put one in a bowling center yet. What we do have is a booth at a Davie university center, which logged more than 300 paid sessions in month one (move-in week did a lot of the heavy lifting, and a campus crowd is its own thing). Students kept asking if it was staying. We would love to find out what league night does.

Best spot

On the concourse right behind the lanes, where bowlers waiting their turn can watch friends tumble out of the curtain laughing.

Busiest moment

Cosmic bowl on Friday and Saturday nights, when the lights drop, the music climbs and every group wants proof they were there.

Make it yours

Your colors and logo wrap the whole cabinet so it looks like it came with the building, and your center’s name prints on each strip.

Questions from bowling alleys

The flash fires inside an enclosed booth behind a curtain, so it stays with the people posing. Bowlers on lane one keep their eyes on the pins.

The bench seats a small group, so big teams usually rotate in pairs and trios or squeeze in for one chaotic group shot. Both versions make great strips.

No. Bowlers handle payment on the booth with a card or phone, and the screen coaches them through every step. We restock paper and keep watch over it remotely.

A sales report comes with each monthly payment, and the first 90 days work as a trial. If it is not earning its corner, we take it back free.
