Local guide

Where a booth fits in Orlando

Most visitors only see Orlando’s tourist corridor, where the parks and International Drive have photo spots of their own. The city that locals know is a ring of neighborhoods around downtown, and that is where the walk-in booths are. Mills 50 and Audubon Park have the independent coffee shops, music venues and bars that tend to keep an analog booth running, while Thornton Park, Ivanhoe Village and College Park fill up with brunch and happy hour crowds.

North of downtown, Winter Park’s Park Avenue mixes shops, galleries and restaurants with steady weekend foot traffic. Out east, Lake Nona is building new mixed-use spaces with food halls and entertainment venues, the kind of rooms where a booth by the entrance gets used every day.

Orlando gets about as many photo booth searches as Miami, yet it has only a couple of public booths. That gap is an opening for any venue that wants a reason for guests to stay longer and post about it. SmileMore booths take tap to pay, print in seconds and cost the venue nothing, and Orlando venues can join our install list today.

What a session costs

Analog booths in Orlando run about $5 a strip and are often cash only. Digital booths usually take cards.

How to spot a real booth

A curtain or enclosure, prints on real photo paper, and no booking needed. A screen that only texts you a file is not a photo booth.

Best time to go

Weeknights before 9 pm are quietest. Booths inside bars and music venues follow their hours and door policies.
