Host a booth / Campuses

For colleges and universities

Class Dismissed. Strike a Pose.

A university photo booth gives students a place to make memories between classes, club meetings and late-night study breaks. We install a real enclosed booth in your student center, wrap it in school colors and handle every repair. It is free for your campus to host, and you earn on every session.

What changes

Proof from a real student center

Campuses are the one place we can show you exactly what happens, because our first booth lives in the Don Taft University Center at Nova Southeastern University in Davie. It opened in August 2026, right as students arrived for move-in, and that week alone drove a big chunk of its early sales. What did students praise most? The camera quality and how fast the strips printed. Here is what a booth like that adds to any campus calendar:

  • Move-in day. New roommates get their first photo together before the boxes are even unpacked.
  • Orientation week. Leaders turn the booth into an icebreaker, and freshmen walk away with a strip and a few new friends.
  • Club nights. Greek life, intramural teams and the anime club all claim the bench at some point, usually in costume.
  • Finals week. A two-minute escape from the library that ends with something to tape above the desk.
  • Big weekends. Homecoming, family weekend and graduation bring parents and alumni who want a strip too.

Students kept asking whether the NSU booth was permanent, which is about the best review a booth can get.

What it costs the school

Nothing from any department budget. We supply the booth, delivery, installation, paper, repairs and insurance, so facilities does not need a work order or a line item.

What the campus earns

Your institution receives 10% to 25% of each session, settled in a written agreement first. A payment and a sales report for your records show up on the 1st each month.

If students lose interest

The 12-month contract kicks off with a 90-day trial period. Not working by then? We wheel it out free, and your lobby goes back to normal.

How it fits

How it runs in a busy student union

At NSU the booth sits in the student center lobby, right where foot traffic peaks between classes. Month one topped 300 paid sessions, with students spending roughly $2,400, with move-in week carrying a big share of it. The facilities team asked for a movable unit, so the booth rides on casters and rolls through a standard door whenever an event needs the floor. An early hardware fault came up and we fixed it, which is exactly why we monitor every booth remotely and keep a local crew on call. Read the full NSU case study for the details.

For your own university photo booth, plan for a 5 x 5 ft spot with one standard outlet, in a lobby, dining hall entrance or rec center. Students pay by tapping a card or phone on the reader, and campus staff never handle money. Campus card payments are something we can explore with your payment team. We set the price with each school during review (at NSU it is $7.99). More ideas live in our campus photo booth guide.

Best spot

The student center lobby, near dining or the main stairs. It needs to sit on the path students walk ten times a day.

Busiest moment

Move-in week, hands down. At NSU it powered much of the first month. Orientation, homecoming and finals breaks bring their own spikes.

Make it yours

We wrap it in school colors and your logo. Ours at NSU wears Sharks blue, and the school’s name prints on every strip students take home.

Questions from campuses

Not out of the box. Today students pay with a credit or debit card or a phone tap. Campus card payments are something we can explore with your payment team.

We do. We monitor the booth remotely, restock paper and send local techs for repairs, usually within the day. Your student life staff never run it or touch the cash.

Yes. NSU’s facilities team asked for exactly that, so the booth rolls on casters through a standard door. Move it for a career fair, then bring it back for club night.

No. We look at foot traffic and space, not enrollment alone. Community colleges and smaller private schools with a busy common area are worth a review, and we only take a few campuses at a time.
