Host a booth / Coffee Shops

For cafes and coffee bars

Espresso, Then Four Poses

A coffee shop photo booth gives your regulars a new ritual and gives passersby a reason to come in. It is free to host: we supply the booth, keep it maintained and hand you a cut of each session. Your baristas stay on the bar. The booth works the corner.

What changes

From quick coffee stop to the place people meet

Coffee shops live on habits. The same faces at 8 AM, the same laptop crowd at noon. A booth adds a small surprise to that routine and pulls in people who never needed a cappuccino in the first place.

  • The coffee date. Meeting for coffee is low pressure. Ending it with a strip of four goofy poses turns a maybe into a second date.
  • The weekend stroll. Families and friends walking the neighborhood spot the glowing topper through the window and step in. Some buy a drink, some just pose. Both count.
  • The study break. Students camped out for hours need a reason to stretch. Grabbing a friend for the booth beats another hour of scrolling.
  • The regulars’ wall. Pin strips from loyal customers to a corkboard and the shop starts to feel like it belongs to them.

Each strip carries your shop’s name, so a quick visit turns into something guests keep in a wallet or tape to a laptop lid. Wondering whether it fits? Our guide to photo booth dimensions shows exactly how much room it needs.

The cost

None. The booth arrives with delivery, setup, paper, repairs and insurance covered by us. All your cafe gives up is a corner and an everyday outlet.

The payout

You earn 10% to 25% of every session, with the exact number written down before you sign. Money and a sales report show up monthly on the 1st.

The trial

Agreements last 12 months, and the opening 90 days work as a test run. If your customers aren’t into it, we take the booth back free of charge.

How it fits

Small shop, big curtain, zero barista time

Coffee shops are tight, so placement matters. The booth needs roughly a 5 x 5 ft corner and one standard outlet, and the Classic cabinet is about 55 inches wide by 29 deep. Good spots include the corner by the window seats, the end of the pickup counter, or the nook near the restroom door. It never joins the order line: guests pay at the booth with a card or phone tap, and your baristas never ring it up. We track it remotely, swap paper, and get a local technician out fast, often same day, when needed.

Being upfront: we haven’t put a booth in a cafe yet, so whichever shop hosts the first coffee shop photo booth with SmileMore gets a genuinely new thing on its block. Our single active booth stands in the Don Taft University Center at NSU, a campus setting rather than a cafe. Its debut month brought in north of 300 paid sessions and roughly $2,400 from guests, boosted by move-in week, so take it as encouragement and not a projection. Ready to talk? Apply to host.

Best spot

Somewhere visible from the sidewalk or the front window, so the illuminated topper does the job of a sandwich board.

Busiest moment

Weekend mornings, when friends linger over a second coffee and couples are out exploring the neighborhood with nowhere to be.

Make it yours

Your cafe’s colors and logo go on the cabinet wrap, and your name prints on every strip that leaves with a latte.

Questions from coffee shops

If you can free up a corner of about 5 x 5 ft near a standard outlet, probably. We review every space before agreeing to a placement.

The booth is enclosed with a curtain, so the posing happens inside. Most of the noise is friends laughing as they step out with their strips.

That’s your call. Guests pay for sessions directly at the booth, so it works whether or not they order at the counter.

Four poses across two printed strips, with your shop’s name on each. Guests pick color or black and white on screen and can grab a digital copy from the QR code.
