A Reason to Walk the Whole Concourse

A shopping center photo booth gives shoppers a destination that has nothing to do with a sale rack. Teens plan trips around it, families stop on the way to the food court, and couples make it part of date night. We install it, brand it and maintain it, completely free to your property.

What changes

Shoppers walk over on purpose

Malls compete with a phone that can buy anything in two taps. What a phone cannot do is put four best friends on a bench behind a curtain and hand them a strip ninety seconds later. That is an outing, and outings are what bring people to a shopping center on a Saturday. A lit booth on the concourse pulls groups across the floor, and they pass a dozen storefronts on the way.

  • Teen squads. Friend groups turn it into a weekly ritual, posing in whatever they just bought.
  • Food court families. Kids finish their pretzels and beg for one strip before the drive home.
  • Holiday season. Ugly sweaters, matching pajamas and a line that forms on its own in December.
  • Date nights. Dinner, a movie, then a strip for the wallet. It becomes part of the plan.
  • Tourists. Visitors want a South Florida souvenir, and a printed strip with your mall’s name on it fits in a carry-on.

Every one of those visits starts with someone deciding the booth was worth the trip.

The cost to you

Absolutely nothing. We pay for the booth, bring it in, set it up, insure it, fix it and keep it stocked. Your operations team does not lift a finger.

The upside

Your property collects anywhere from 10% to 25% per session, with the rate fixed on paper before signing. We pay on the 1st each month and include a sales report.

The exit

It is a 12-month agreement with a 90-day trial built in at the start. If the trial falls flat, removal is on us and costs you zero.

How it fits

Center court or food court, it fits

The best placements sit where crowds naturally slow down: near the food court, beside the escalators at center court, or by the entrance to a cinema. Plan a footprint of about 5 x 5 ft with one standard outlet nearby. The cabinet’s casters get it through a standard doorway, which means you can reposition it for a seasonal display without calling a rigging crew. Shoppers tap a card or phone to pay, mall staff never handle a dollar, and we watch every session remotely. When rolls get low we replace them, and if something goes wrong a local technician tends to fix it the same day. A shopping center photo booth should feel like a tenant that never calls you. Our mall photo booth guide covers placement in more depth.

To be clear, no mall in the region hosts a SmileMore booth yet. Our live booth is on a university campus, which is not a mall, and its first month passed 300 paid sessions thanks in large part to move-in week. Your center court could be the first in the region to show what a booth does for foot traffic.

Best spot

On the walk between the food court and the cinema, where groups wander with time to kill and no particular store in mind.

Busiest moment

Saturday afternoons in December, when families are out in force and everyone already planned to take a holiday photo anyway.

Make it yours

The cabinet wears your center’s colors and logo, and your property name prints on each strip, so every souvenir doubles as a postcard for the mall.

Questions from shopping centers

Barely. It needs a corner roughly five feet square plus an outlet, which fits in a common area or concourse nook that rarely leases on its own.

No. It is a fully enclosed booth that runs unattended. Shoppers pay by card or phone tap, and monitoring, paper and repairs are all handled from our side.

Yes. Casters make it easy to wheel through a normal door, so you can shift it to make room for a seasonal set and bring it back in January.

Send your property details, traffic patterns and a few candidate spots through the host application. We vet each location carefully and keep our list of active venues short.
