A Lighter Moment in the Lobby

A hospital photo booth will never be the reason anyone visits, and it shouldn’t be. What it can be is a bright spot in a long day: new parents taking a first family photo, siblings meeting a baby, a nursing team celebrating a milestone. We install it in a public area at no cost, and a share of each session goes back to your hospital.

What changes

Room for good news in a serious place

Hospitals hold some of the hardest days of people’s lives and some of the happiest. A booth belongs only in the public spaces, and only where it serves those happier moments. Done right, it gives families and staff something small and human in a building that runs on schedules.

  • First family photos. New parents heading home stop for a strip with the baby in the car seat. That print ends up in the baby book next to the hospital bracelet.
  • Big brothers and sisters. Kids visiting a new sibling get a job that is all theirs: four goofy poses and a strip to show their class.
  • Staff celebrations. Nurses Week, a unit’s anniversary, a retirement. Teams that rarely get a group photo finally get one, on paper.
  • Volunteer and donor events. Auxiliary luncheons and foundation nights get a fun extra that costs the event budget nothing.
  • A break for waiting families. Relatives with time to fill near the cafeteria or main lobby have something gentle to do together.

We keep the booth out of clinical areas and work within your facility’s rules on placement and cleaning. Your team decides where it fits.

Cost to the hospital

None at all. We pay for the cabinet, its delivery and setup, the paper, its insurance and every fix. Your facilities team supplies a corner and an outlet.

Return to the hospital

Each session sends 10% to 25% back to your organization, at a rate written into the agreement first. You decide where it goes, from general funds to an auxiliary program. Paid on the 1st, with a report.

If it isn't right

The agreement runs 12 months and opens with a 90-day trial. If it doesn’t suit your lobby, we remove it free.

How it fits

Public spaces only, on your terms

Good placements are the main lobby, near the cafeteria, outside the gift shop, or in a family lounge near the maternity unit, always outside patient care areas. It asks for a five-foot-square corner and a regular outlet, and because it sits on wheels, facilities can relocate it for an event or a remodel. Payment happens at the screen by card or phone, so no employee ever runs it or touches cash. We monitor it remotely, restock paper, and a local technician usually handles any issue the same day. We will go through your vendor credentialing and follow your infection control requirements for anyone who services it.

To be direct: no hospital has hosted one of our booths so far. Our single working booth is in Nova Southeastern’s student center in Davie, a campus and nothing like a medical setting. Students there bought more than 300 sessions in its opening month (move-in week helped a great deal), which tells us people go out of their way for a real booth. A hospital is a very different place, which is why we would build that first placement with your team, not around it. Questions on terms are answered in our host FAQ.

Best spot

The main lobby or a family lounge near maternity, where people are arriving or heading home in a good mood.

Busiest moment

Weekend visiting hours and discharge days, plus staff events like Nurses Week when whole units come down together.

Make it yours

We wrap it in your hospital’s colors and logo, and the hospital’s name lands on each strip that goes home in a diaper bag.

Questions from hospitals

Only public, non-clinical spaces: main lobbies, cafeterias, gift shop areas and family lounges. Your team approves the exact spot.

We follow your facility’s requirements for placement, cleaning and anyone who services the booth. If a spot or schedule doesn’t meet your standards, we adjust.

We wrap it in your branding and place it where families celebrate, not where they wait for hard news. The goal is a quiet, happy option, never a spectacle.

Your share is paid monthly at a rate set in writing, and how you use it is up to you, including an auxiliary or patient-experience fund.
